Meet the Candidates

Each year, our Youth of the Year candidates represent our Club, demonstrating leadership, resilience, and a commitment to growth. Through their experiences, they have built confidence, found their voice, and made a positive impact on those around them. We invite you to learn more about these remarkable young people and join us in celebrating their achievements.



Annabelle R

Annabelle is a senior at Milford High School and a dedicated leader at the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley. She currently serves as President of the Keystone Club, where she leads service initiatives and encourages peers to remain engaged through challenges. Annabelle also works as a Youth Development Professional, mentoring younger members and fostering a safe, inclusive environment. Her leadership is shaped by teamwork and discipline developed through basketball, marching band - where she is a section leader - and vocal performance groups. Grounded in empathy, collaboration, and commitment, Annabelle strives to uplift others and create spaces where all young people feel seen, supported, and empowered. 




Emma P

Emma is a senior at Hollis Brookline High School who brings thoughtful leadership and creativity to everything she does. A former Club kid, Emma is deeply motivated by the impact the Boys & Girls Club had on her life and hopes to help expand that access for others. She is heavily involved in the performing arts as a stage manager, lighting designer, and set designer, roles that have strengthened her problem-solving and organizational skills. Emma has also served as a Student Council representative and as President of her International Thespian Society troupe. Known for her collaborative spirit and reflective leadership style, Emma values bringing people together to create meaningful change. 




Josiah C

Josiah is a youth development professional at the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley and a passionate advocate for young people. He serves as Treasurer of the Keystone Club and has completed over 100 hours of community service focused on mentorship, leadership, and youth engagement. Josiah’s leadership is rooted in open-mindedness, resilience, and integrity - qualities shaped by personal challenges and a commitment to growth. His experience includes coaching youth basketball, supporting theater programs, volunteering at Hopefest, and participating in constitutional debate through We the People. Bilingual in Spanish and English, Josiah strives to ensure every young person feels heard, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. 




Kylie B

Kylie is a junior at Milford High School who leads with adaptability, inclusiveness, and a strong belief in youth empowerment. As a Youth Development Professional at the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley, Kylie mentors children and helps create safe, welcoming spaces where youth feel confident expressing themselves. Her experiences in theater, customer service, and mental health advocacy through Active Minds have strengthened her communication skills and collaborative leadership style. Having moved frequently as a child, Kylie values helping others feel a sense of belonging. She is passionate about encouraging young people to recognize their voices, overcome obstacles, and make a positive impact in their communities.




Olivia S

Olivia is a senior at Milford High School who is driven by creativity, community building, and inclusion. She is actively involved in Interact Club as Secretary, Best Buddies, and We the People, where her teams recently won district-level recognition. Olivia also balances multiple part-time jobs, where she has trained new employees and thrived in fast-paced environments. A member of the Club dance team with experience in cheer and lacrosse, Olivia values teamwork and connection. She is passionate about encouraging youth to explore activities, find supportive communities, and discover their own sense of purpose. Olivia leads with open-mindedness and a desire to help others feel they belong.
