Jacques After School

The Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley is pleased to offer an afterschool program for our youngest members on site at Jacques Memorial Elementary School. This state-licensed childcare program offers a safe, fun, after school experience for your afternoon Kindergarten, Readiness, or First Grade child.

We understand the requirements for our youngest members are very different from our older school-aged members. For example, programs for younger children require a higher staff-to-child ratio, homework time requires more individual help and focus, and activities need to be shorter, more interactive, and incorporate lots of physical activity to keep interest levels up.

Our staff will be at Jacques Memorial Elementary School to meet your children each day after school. After a snack (provided by the program) and some socializing your children will complete their homework, then participate in fun activities! Our program staff will be visiting Jacques each week, bringing arts, sports, theater and more to your children, creating a fun, safe afterschool experience for your child.

The tuition fee for this state-licensed program is $10 a day or $40 a week.
Your child must register as a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley to participate.
Membership will also provide access to our Vacation and Snow Day programs held onsite at the Boys & Girls Club.

Note: If your child attends Jacques Memorial Elementary and you rather they attend programs at the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley's Milford facility, they may do so. As members, children can participate in Kid Club afterschool programs for $5/day or $75 for a monthly pass. For transporation to the Club, children must take their regular school bus to the Club - resulting in a long ride of over an hour. Due to the long bus ride, parent must sign a release noting they are aware of the length of the ride. This release will be made available soon.
